The nearby towns of Sudbury (7 Miles) and Halstead (8 miles) are both attractive traditional market towns, offering a variety of independent shops and eateries together with larger supermarkets and traditional markets. Both towns boast medical centres, dental practices, cottage hospital: schooling for all ages and a number of leisure opportunities including leisure centres and swimming pools. The closest state secondary school is Hedingham School (4 miles away) with additional private schooling nearby in Gosfield (8 Miles)

For the commuter there is a branch line railway station in Sudbury which connects to Marks Tey and onto Liverpool Street with an approximate journey time of 90 minutes. Junction 8 of the M11 at Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport are 25 miles to the west. Read more
